カラーチョーカーは、身につける人々が力や安らぎを感じられるよう、1点ずつ手づくりで制作している襟飾りです。本コレクションでは、日本文化のひとつである家紋をモチーフとしてデザインしました。

　

​約1000年前に平安貴族の生活から生まれた家紋は、先祖への尊敬の意や、長寿、繁栄、災いからの守護を願ってつくられたといわれています。藤や牡丹といった植物の意匠は、花鳥風月を愛で、自然に美を見出してきた日本人特有の感覚から生まれました。

 

カラーチョーカーをきっかけに、日本の美しい文化や魅力を身近に感じていただけたら嬉しいです。

Collar Choker is a collar ornament designed with the motif of Japanese family crest  called “Kamon” .

 　

Kamon which originated from the life of aristocrats in Heian era about 1,000 years ago, were created to show respect for ancestors, wishes of longevity, prosperity, and protection from disasters.  The designs of plants such as wisteria and peony were created with the unique sense of Japanese who have found beauty in nature.
